Stream: JoJo Re-Recorded & Re-Released Her First Two Albums With Fully Updated Tracks

Published: Friday 21st Dec 2018 by Rashad

It’s been over 14 years since Pop powerhouse JoJo stormed the music scene with her self-titled debut album.  Housing the hits ‘Baby It’s You,’ ‘Leave (Get Out),’ and more, the project introduced the young starlet as a vocal force to be reckoned with among her Pop peers.

Now, as a clap back to her former label home for keeping her music off of popular streaming outlets, the singer has re-recorded the LP from start to finish with updated tracks.  Lending her matured vocal stylings to the tunes, the songstress – who celebrated her 28th birthday on December 20th – announced the set as a gift to fans to stream and download.

Titled ‘Album One ’04,’ hear her first album reworked in full below:

I’m so f****** excited! BOTH albums are boos and straight classics. PERIOD! These sound just as amazing if not better than the originals! It’s amazing to see joJo growing into her own skin and becoming a boss lady with her new label partnership with Interscope. Go girl!

It’s was cool but the original get out and baby it’s you. I get she had to change the key to sell it but the original sound so much more innocent and pure

JoJo is a classic artist persons, she’s always sung within her range and never gave me X-Tina vibes!!❤️??

    • ??? December 21, 2018

lmaooo because she can’t reach Legendtina’s range, her basic little vocals are no match lmfaoooo

      • Jasmine December 21, 2018

Xtina has no range. She just screams. You must be thinking Xtina 20 years ago. Starting with her album Back to Basics Xtina does not try to use her range anymore because it is gone. Name one song in the last 10 years where she showcased range? I’ll wait.

I love JoJo, but these new recordings are not it. Copy and paste of high notes from first album to second album are extremely evident. I want her to give me Mariah, Christina, Whitney vocals where you can hear the intro, bridge, etc. There’s no peaks in these vocals. If you’re going to re-record, go off on those vocals. That’s what will live on.

    • rawdio December 21, 2018

There are NO cut and paste high notes. Trust me, all I do is edit vocals and mix records. Jojo went in on this! Theres always going to be someone who wants it to be how it was rather than how it is now. Why not just support this great artist who deserves to be at the top today!

It’s now on Spotify too! She even uploaded Demonstrate! Yaaaaaaaaasss

I like it a lot obviously the main singles like “Leave get out” and “baby it’s you” originals sound better just cause they are so embedded in our heads but overall everything sounds just as good if not better with mature vocals and updated instrumentals.

I didn’t like the vocals on too little too late and get out very nasally
